The event saw Mobike customize a number bike wheels with tasty images of pizzas and invite four famous Wuxi internet live video bloggers to broadcast the fun and games that took place at Pizza Hut. Representatives of the ride share company had hooked up a Mobike to an electric pizza over and the live video bloggers took sweaty spins to cook their own lunch- Pizza Hut's chilled fruit drink was on hand and proved greatly appreciated.
The netizens later took a spin around the downtown area on Mobikes and explained details of the promotion to their youthful internet fans, the hope on the part of the two companies being that these live video bloggers will spread the word to millennials citywide.
One of the live video bloggers, Huang Huanghuo, a 26 year old Wuxi native who calls herself a new media professional, explained that the promotion will be exciting for young people in the city.
"Mobike and Pizza Hut are both young brands and we came here to take part and offer an internet platform, to gather as a group [of live video bloggers] to launch the new products."
