The 2016 Wuxi Sports Dance Championship & National Sports Dance City Invitation Tournament, kicked off in the gym of Wuxi Fengying Primary School in Manshan on Oct 2nd.
More than 1,100 dancers from 28 teams across China are taking part in the competition. The age of competitors ranges from 5-years-old to over 60-years-old.
The competition includes a variety of dance styles including waltz, tango, fox trot, rumba, samba, cha-cha and so on.
The contestants will also have the opportunity to visit some famous scenic spots in Wuxi including the Grand Buddha at Ling Shan, Helv Relics Museum and Nianhua Bay Town, enabling them to fully experience Wuxi.
