Various medical workers in Wuxi and those from Hong Kong attended a publishing ceremony at the Wuxi Shanmingshuixiu Hotel on July 21, to witness the release of the English version of the TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) cancer treatment book The Principle of "Restoring Equilibrium through Fine-tuning".

The book is written by Professor Zhao Jingfang, chief physician of the oncology department at Wuxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and was first published in 2004. With more than 30 years' of clinical experience, Professor Zhao created her distinctive fine-tuning therapy which had some success in treating middle and advanced cancer.

Tan Hongbin, a senior pharmacist at the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong, spent two years translating the work of Professor Zhao into English. Tan hoped that by his effort, the philosophy of TCM can be spread widely and benefit cancer patients around the world.
The book The Principle of "Restoring Equilibrium through Fine-tuning" is also Wuxi's first English edition of TCM in its history.
