Wuxi New District Experimental Elementary School won in Group A at the 2015 China National Youth Baseball Championships in Zhongshan city, Guangdong province on August 4, reported chinadaily.com.cn
Eighteen teams from Beijing, Tianjin, Sichuan, Hebei and Jiangsu attended the event between July 23 and August 4. The top four places were occupied by Jiangsu, Shandong, Beijing and Hong Kong.
The baseball team of Wuxi New District Experimental Elementary School was founded in June 2007. It won three consecutive championships (2009-2011) in Group A at the China National Youth Baseball Championships and finished third in the 2010 Asian Children's Baseball Championships.
This was the fifth time the school won the first place at the event.
