The closing date for those wishing to enter in the fourth Taihu Award Design Competition will be on April 15.
The Taihu Award is an international competition for industrial design work and is held on Taihi Lake in Wuxi, Jiangsu province. The competition favors works featuring aspects of healthy lifestyle, CMF (Color, Material and Finish), interactive experience, cultural elements and sustainable development.
The award has attracted thousands of competitors from universities all over the world, including Tsinghua University, Politecnico di Milano, Sapienza University of Rome, and the University of Dundee.
During the event, the organizing committee will help match shortlisted works with manufacturers to help make the ideas come to life as real scientific products.

Preliminary selection: April 17, 2015
Pairing meetings between designers and manufacturers: April and May, 2015
Award ceremony: May, 2015
