The medal for the 2015 Wuxi International Marathon has been designed and features the city's charm, profound cultural background and "Yufeifeng" as a visual element, according to the marathon's organizing committee.
"Yufeifeng", the city logo of Wuxi, is a cultural symbol representing Wuxi's city image. The medal has a special design, with round outer edges and a main "Yufeifeng" body, which aims to convey best wishes for marathon participants.
The medals are made of steel alloy and are split into two types. Medals with blue ribbons are given to those who complete the full marathon and medals with red ribbons are given to those who complete the half marathon.
In addition, clothing given to participants is made of polyester to help absorb moisture and sweat.
Wuxi International Marathon is the only international long distance marathon in Jiangsu province and will be held on Mar 15, 2015. It has full marathon, half marathon and mini marathon races.
