The Liyuan Garden
The Liyuan Garden is one of the most famous scenic spots here. There is a long embankment with willows, a long corridor beside the water, delicate and small bridges and gorgeous pavilions. Wherever you stand, you will see a beautiful picture.
The park was built in 1927 and was named after Fan Li, a famous politician, strategist and economist in Chinese history. The love between Fan Li and Xishi (one of the famous Four Beauties of Ancient China) is a theme of the park.

The Lihu Park
There is a garden in the park, namely the Shiyuan Garden, which boasts beautiful scenery. A Water Mirror Corridor was built along the water, with famous poems and paintings praising the beauty of Taihu Lake carved on its walls. The Star of Taihu Lake, the first water Ferris wheel in the world, stands at one side of the lake in the park.
Location: North end of the Lihu Bridge, Lihu Street, Binhu district
Ticket: The park is open for free; the ticket for the Ferris wheel costs RMB 60.
Open hours: With access all day (the park); 8:00 am- 5:00pm, 10:00 pm (the Ferris wheel)
The Li Embankment
The Li Embankment is like a crescent-moon on the lake. It was originally built for reclaiming land from the lake and was reserved when returning the farmed fish to the lake. It links the ten tourist attractions of Lihu Lake together. It is considered a landscape corridor on the lake. There are pavilions beside the water.
