Four leading e-commerce logistics projects settled in Wuxi Airport Industrial Park recently. They are Southern Jiangsu S.F. E-commerce Industrial Park, Fengshuo Wuxi International Logistics Park, Aviation Logistics Base of UC Logistics (Southern Jiangsu) and Zhongtongji Aviation Logistics.
With a total investment of 1.8 billion yuan ($291 million), the settlement means that the traditional e-commerce logistics in the park is being transformed into high-end e-commerce and aviation logistics.
The annual growth rate of the park’s airport economic industries has increased 45% now, boosting the development of the logistics industry. The output value of the modern logistics industry had exceeded tens of billions yuan in 2013.
With the launch of the four projects, the airport-logistics-oriented modern service industry will enjoy rapid development, and the transformation from a competitive industry to a characteristic industry will speed up.
