Abag Banner opens new nursing home

Abag Banner has recently opened a 34,000-square-meter nursing home called Halemuji, which provides accommodation for over 1,000 elderly local herdsmen who can receive unlimited services by paying a flat fee of between 3,000 ($440) to 6,000 yuan per year.

The home, which took three years to build, was funded by both government and the private sector, with services including medical care, exercise facilities, and entertainment. More than 700 elderly herdsmen have chosen the home to live out their remaining years.
