Two CRH5A trains departed Hohhot East Station for Ulanqab on May 11 to test and debug the new Hohhot-Zhangjiakou high-speed rail line.

With increasing speed, the trains tested track geometries, track circuits, transponders, and catenary parameters.

The tests provided valuable data for the future running of the Hohhot-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, according to the Hohhot Railway Station.
