Youth delegates of America’s Democratic Party visited Inner Mongolia yesterday, receiving a grand welcome from regional officials.
The young delegates visited the Inner Mongolia Museum and the factories of the Yili Industrial Group to learn of the region’s economy and history.
The Inner Mongolia government expressed hopes for further exchanges between Chinese and American young people in education, science and technology, environmental protection and international volunteer services.
“This visit provides an opportunity for youth to enhance mutual understanding and create friendships,” said Wang Zhonghe, vice president of the CPPCC Inner Mongolia Committee.
