Festival lanterns brighten Hohhot

Multicolored lanterns have been made and decorated in Hohhot to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the foundation of the autonomous region.
The lanterns will be exhibited on the banks of local streams and lakes from May to October this year.

High-speed train debuts in Inner Mongolia
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
