Two college graduates recently started a specialized business planting succulents in Bayannur, choosing to take a road starkly different than their peers.

In 2016, Jiang Ting decided to quit her job at a State-owned company and allied with her friend Qu Wanjiao to start their own succulent growing business.

They visited plantation bases in Shenzhen and Yantai to learn more about their new chosen field before selecting succulent cultivars acclimatized to the local Bayannur environment.

One year later, their greenhouse has blossomed with an assortment of potted succulents, garnering many purchases from visitors. The two have recently taken their business online, expanding their sales and business across the region.
