Over a 70 hour round-trip, the train passes through sparsely-populated areas, nearly 80 percent of which are desert, to deliver drinking water, vegetables, and daily commidities.
The train even passes through some zones with no name, and are instead positioned by train mileage. Despite no trace on a railway map, it’s an indispensible weekly journey.
