With the sound of drums beating and cymbals clashing, over 30 elderly residents performed a yangko, a traditional folk dance, on a street of Yuquan district in Hohhot on Feb 4.

The performers come from a yangko team founded several years ago, with the oldest member of the team being almost 80 years old. To celebrate the upcoming Lantern Festival, they gathered together to dance for local residents.
