The 5th plenary session of the 11th CPPCC of Inner Mongolia autonomous region convened at a hall in Hohhot on Jan 13, attracting 473 committee members to focus on the region’s further development in 2017.

Ren Yaping, president of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, delivered a work report to review the achievements made in 2016 and scheduled new proposals for 2017.
Ren acknowledged that Inner Mongolia has made significant progress in boosting comprehensive regional strength and economic growth in 2016, and with new leadership, Inner Mongolia plans to put forth earnest efforts in improving its economy, culture, and people’s livelihoods, expecting more sustainable development in the future.
