Children take part in activities at an ice and snow cultural festival in Guyang county, Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The festival opened on Jan 1 and will run until the end of February. The festival covers an area of 300,000 square meters, with the ice and snow sculptures representing more than 40,000 cubic meters.
