Meet Santa in Baotou

The Global Snow Christmas Village will be open in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, from Dec 10, 2016 to Jan 8, 2017.

The Christmas village will incorporate different elements of Christmas from all over the world, including castles, churches and Christmas-themed post offices.

The village is expected to be a highlight among tourist attractions in North China during the coming winter, with features including Santa Claus and his reindeer from Finland. Santa will give out presents to tourists at fixed times in the village.

Food fairs will be held in the Christmas village, selling local snacks from China and Europe.

Snow, ice sculptures and ski slopes will be placed indoors.

Tickets for the village are 280 yuan ($41) per person and fees for all activities are included.
