The series — a mix of six independent races — will begin its first race on June 24 in Hohhot and Helinger Country, the website of the General Administration of Sports in China said.

The grasslands and the diversified landscape of the Inner Mongolia make it a perfect prospect for bicycle races.

Jia Jingui, secretary general of the local sports federation, said this year’s series race will be well-designed and express local features.

Jia also said that registration is open to all bicycle-race lovers.

According to the local report, the winners of the final award will be determined by the cumulative scores of the bikers — either as teams or as individuals.
