"The Beginning of Summer", which falls on May 5 this year, is a very important solar term in the Chinese Lunar calendar. Tongshunjie primary school in the city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia paints eggshells to celebrate the solar term and understand its origin and related folk customs.
