When the 18th Inner Mongolia International Agricultural Expo came to a close in the Inner Mongolia International Exhibition Center, in the city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, on March 18, it had attracted 400 enterprises and about 50,000 visitors with a turnover of 470 million yuan ($72.6 million), and 8 million yuan in income for the companies.
The industries taking part in the 3-day event, included food, hotel, transport, logistics, and tourism and there were six booths for agricultural materials, water-saving irrigation, plants and flowers, animal husbandry, livestock products and financial services, which proved quite popular.
Many manufacturers signed contracts, and farmers got a lot of spring plowing products.
Estimates put the number of enterprises taking part in all the previous Inner Mongolia international agricultural expos at 6,540, exhibiting as many as 73,500 products, and signing 421 agreements, with sales valued at 4.15 billion yuan.
This expo has a production and marketing site for enterprises, and a green channel for approaching markets at home and abroad, and has become an official large branded agricultural event in North China.
