The Human Resources and Social Security Department of Inner Mongolia reports on Feb 23 that it will find more jobs for the surplus labor force in rural areas and help more than 2,450,000 farmers and herdsmen get work elsewhere.
The surplus labor force in the region's rural areas is now above 3 million, so Inner Mongolia is looking to support green products and processing as well as a pastoral area service industry and agriculture and animal husbandry tourism to create more jobs.
And to improve the quality of employment for farmers and herdsmen it says it will support hometown pioneer parks and brands and pilot employment projects, and try to give migrant workers a guarantee so those with technological skills, capital, and management experience can return to their village to start their own business.
