The city of Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region has a clothing store that says it is a fusion of online and offline business to bring customers a brand new shopping experience, while bucking the growing trend for online shopping across and nation and even the world.
Opened this past December, the shop is the first of this kind in China. Or, as Ms Song, the store owner puts it, "We're looking for an experiential shopping lifestyle, selling both online and in a physical space at the same prices to break the barrier between the two."

The shop allows customers to get more information of their favorite items via store computers or on their own smartphone. They can also pay for the item there and take it home or order it online and have it sent to their home. If they want it sent by the manufacturer it can be sent directly, Song explains, noting, "This can benefit the customer and in the same time reduce overstocking."
