Inner Mongolia singers perfom at the Shanghai grasslands song festival

At a song festival in the city of Shanghai, on Jan 18, various bands and singers, including Hanggai and Peng Zhiqiang from the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, brought the audience a different world of song and a unique style from the Mongolian prairie, with splendid performances.

The festival was part of an effort to introduce folk music around China and the first time for Inner Mongolia to market its music to other parts of China.

One of the organizers is the website, www.mgyyw.com, China's biggest grasslands music website of the Hamug Culture Media Co which is a startup company in the hi-tech industrial development zone in Baotou, Inner Mongolia.
