The city of Hohhot, Inner Mongolia played host to a second round of talks on the China-Mongolia cross-border economic cooperation zone, on Jan 8, with Cao Hongying, deputy director of Department of Foreign Investment Administration, Ministry of Commerce of China, and De Nimahu, secretary-general of Mongolia's Industry Ministry, on hand for the consultation.
The two countries reached a consensus on boundaries and management that are touched on in the Overall plan on Erenhot-Zhamenwude cross-border economic cooperation zone construction.
Cao gave a summary of the meeting and pointed to the achievements, noting that they matched the expected goals and laid a good foundation for future. A third round of talks will take place this coming March.
