A delegation from Brazil started a tour of Inner Mongolia on Nov 10 to learn about the region’s football reform and development.
Tan Jingfeng, head of the Sports Bureau of Inner Mongolia and the deputy standing chairman of the region’s football association, met the Brazilian delegates on Nov 11 with a brief introduction of the region’s management organizations, football facilities, league and promotion systems about football.
Tan proposed building joint football schools, a teenager football coaching system based on Inner Mongolia’s conditions and Brazilian experience, improving football professionals’ training and increasing football exchanges by cooperating with its Brazilian counterpart. He also invited the delegation to take part in the international football development forum hosted by Inner Mongolia in 2016.
The Brazilian delegates expressed their desire to join with Inner Mongolia. They will share Brazil’s experience and help cultivate football talents for Inner Mongolia, also they welcomed children to train and visit Brazil.
After the visit in Hohhot, the delegation will also stop in Xilingol League, Baotou and Ordos.
Inner Mongolia became China’s first pilot for football reform at provincial-levle in September 2014. The region’s football has raised much interest from the outside world.
