Inner Mongolia maps out 3-year action plan for civilized tourism

North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region will carry a three-year plan to promote civilized travelling, according to the region’s tourism bureau on Oct 8.

Inner Mongolia included management, operation, services and behavior in the plan for civilized tourism, said an official from the region’s tourism bureau.

The official explained that Inner Mongolia will assess travel agents, starred hotels and scenic spots above A level, in order to improve the level of civilization.

Meanwhile, the region will give civilized tourism an important place in the training of tour guides and travel agencies.
