A delegation led by Wang Jun, Party secretary of Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Bater, chairman of the region, inspected the “Ten Full Coverage” project in Hinggan League from Sept 13 to 14.

Started in 2014, the Ten Full Coverage is a livelihood project aims to improve infrastructure and public services in the region’s rural pasturing areas.
The Hinggan League is an ethnic area affected by poverty. It has five poverty-stricken counties at national level where social services and infrastructure are lagging.Thanks to the opportunities brought by the Ten Full Coverage project, local governments have mapped out new plans and goals in accordance with local conditions. To date, 75 percent of the construction and reconstruction is complete.

The project offers long-term benefits and must be implemented steadily, according to the inspection team. It asked governments to make the project a driving force for investment and consumption, as well to promote the balanced economic development in rural and urban areas and to improve farmers’ incomes . Also, they urged that the project be expanded to more detailed and extensive aspects of farmers’ production and lives.
