Inner Mongolia plans to develop campus football with Germany’s advanced youth player coaching system, said Bai Xiangqun, vice-chairman of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Bai, who is also chairman of the Inner Mongolia Football Association, met a delegation from the German Football Association or Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB) on Sept 5.

German’s youth player coaching system has strong advantages and is significant in Germany’s football development, Bai commented, noting that he hopes German coaches will come to Inner Mongolia to help the region explore a suitable system for football development. Inner Mongolia is China’s first provincial-level football reform pilot.

DFB is willing to cooperate with Inner Mongolia in campus football, according to the head of the delegation. He added that there should be common concepts in campus football, and that children should enjoy themselves when they play.

The Deutscher Fussball-Bund, an official organization headquartered in Frankfurt, is in charge of all football events in Germany.
