Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) has been cooperating with the National University of Mongolia and the Mongolian Society of Physics in diversified ways in recent years, according to the first Joint Chinese-Mongolian-Russian International Conference on Functional Materials held on August 25.

Over 100 experts from China, Mongolia and Russia attended the conference to discuss topics surrounding new rare earth materials, environmentally-friendly materials, new energy materials and their uses.
The conference will strengthen and upgrade IMNU’s Chinese-Mongolian-Russian cooperation on materials science research, said the head of the University’s College of Physics and Electronic Information.
This event echoes the national strategy for a Chinese-Mongolian-Russian economic corridor. Yun Guohong, president of IMNU and head of the Mongolian Society of Physics were present and addressed the conference.
