Wuchuan county in Inner Mongolia autonomous region's Hohhot that known as “a county of naked oats noodles” held its third naked oats noodle cultural festival on July 23, which will last until Sept 4.

With the theme “Green Wuchuan”, the festival organized a series of activities, such as a Wuchuan local foods fair, tourism promotion and forum on oats and edible fungi industries development.

Moreover, villages tours, historical photos exhibit and painting & calligraphy exhibit were also scheduled during the festival.

Sitting in the center of Inner Mongolia, Wuchuan county’s geographical and climate conditions create high quality naked oats and noodles. The county is also rich in potatoes. Potato industry has increased, accounting for about 70 percent of local farmers’ total income. Edible fungi are also a promising industry in the county.
