Representatives from China, Russia and Mongolia met in the city of Baotou in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region to discuss construction of economic corridor among the three countries, as the 11th China-Russia-Mongolia Industrial and Commercial Forum opened on July 21.
The forum, echoing the Belt and Road Initiative and Inner Mongolia’s Northward opening strategy, was carried out to build a common development platform and to promote pragmatic cooperation between companies and chambers of commerce from all three countries.
As part of the forum, investment promotions were organized for each of the three countries from July 21 to 23. Moreover, the second China (Baotou) International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition was held in tandem.
The China-Russia-Mongolia Industrial and Commercial Forum is a joint initiative. This year’s forum was sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Russian Federation Chamber of Industry and its counterpart from Mongolia.
