A group of over 1,000 travelers with 300 recreational vehicles (RVs) will journey through seven leagues and cities in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region from Hohhot beginning on July 12, marking the Inner Mongolia’s first International RV Nadam.
The over 2,000-kilometer journey stops in seven of the region’s scenic spots, where travelers can experience historical culture, folk customs, grasslands and deserts.
Nadam, meaning “entertainment” in Mongolian, is a mass traditional festival with many distinctive Mongolian activities such as wrestling and horse-racing. However, the RV Nadam, different from its traditional style, combines RV culture with local tourism and culture.
