Inner Mongolia-Mongolia Culture Week kicked off in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia on July 5. Performances, photography and handicraft works exhibition and a symposium of Chinese and Mongolian artists were organized.

The photography and handicraft works exhibition was held in tandem on the culture week’s opening day, when the history, nature and folk customs of Mongolia’s Dornogovi province were displayed. A troupe from the province presented a show in the evening.

Inner Mongolia and Mongolia share the same border, with similar culture and long lasting friendship. The exchanges and cooperation between the two parties are increasing. This culture week, organized jointly by Inner Mongolia and Mongolia, will last until July 9 and is expected to tighten their ties.
