A group of diplomats from 15 embassies in China, including Russia, Mongolia and Austria, arrived in the city of Hohhot, in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on June 25 for a four-day visit in the region, with the focus on local and Chinese culture.
Liu Xinle, the vice-chairman of Inner Mongolia, gave a brief introduction on the region after greeting the visitors and explained that the region will use this opportunity to promote grasslands culture and international exchanges.

The diplomatic foray includes visits to the dairy giant the Yili Group, the Inner Mongolia Museum and the city of Ordos, where they will witness a traditional wedding ceremony.
Sponsors of the visit were the China’s Ministry of Culture and the local government.
Victor Konnov, a counselor at the Russian Embassy in China and head of the delegation, said he takes this opportunity to enjoy the clean air, blue skies, and culture of the region.
