The 2015 Seminar on Grassland Ecological Protection and Management for Developing Countries concluded in Inner Mongolia Agricultural University (IMAU) on May 31.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, the seminar included a series of lectures on themes such as grassland disaster warning, grassland utilization and the sustainable development of grasslands.
Students from eight countries, including Mongolia, Egypt and Zimbabwe, attended. They have also taken field research to Xilingol Grassland and Chifeng.
The lectures and studies in the 21-day's seminar introduced the students to Chinese technologies and methods on grassland ecological protection and management, as well as Inner Mongolia's history, culture and folk customs, concluded Qiao Biao, vice-president of the university.

A representative of the students from Nigeria said that he would apply what he learned from this seminar to his works.
It is not the first time that a foreign aid training course been held in IMAU. Since2012, the university has undertaken six sessions of training courses, organized by the Ministry of Commerce, attracting 93 students from 26 countries.
