China, Mongolia to push economic cooperation zone

China and Mongolia held the first consultation conference on the Erenhot -Zamyn Und cross border economic cooperation zone in Erenhot, North China's Inner Mongolia, on March 26.

Representatives from the two countries discussed how to construct the cooperation zone.

According to the conference, China will draw up an overall plan for the cross border economic cooperation zone before the end of April, and Mongolia will give its feedback on it.

The plan will be evaluated by authorities on both sides and then approved by both governments.

Also in April, a delegation from Mongolia will pay a visit to the China-Kazakhstan Horgos International Frontier Cooperation Center, the first international cooperation center between China and another country.
