Inner Mongolia sets greening rate in public facilities

North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region will implement a regulation on urban green management from May, said the autonomous region's government on April 12.

From the first day of May, the greening rate in new public facilities such as residential areas, schools and hospitals should no less than 35 percent, according to the regulation.

A penalty for logging without permit was also prescribed in the regulation.
