China Daily signed a strategic agreement with the Inner Mongolia Normal University in Hohhot on Dec 12, marking the beginning of the bilateral cooperation. Both sides will carry out cooperation in news reports, English discipline construction, social practice facility building for university students, and brand-related activities.

Kang Bing, deputy director and deputy editor-in-chief of China Daily; Fu Yongchun, Party secretary of the university; and Yun Guohong, president of the university, as well as officials from the local Party committee's publicity department were on hand at the signing ceremony.
Inner Mongolia Normal University was founded in 1952 and sits in Hohhot. It features distinctive teacher and ethnic education, and is named a cradle of national education.

Inner Mongolia students and teachers take up respectively 38 percent and 41 percent of all. The university has strengthened double degree education and cultivation of talents wells up on both Inner Mongolia and Han knowledge. It has adhered to the open education, strengthened external exchanges, and established good relations of cooperation with well-known colleges, universities and research institutions in China and abroad.
