The 16th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) was held in the Shenzhen Convention Center on Nov 16. The presence of 50 high-tech projects from North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region has attracted much attention from the exhibitors and visitors from home and abroad.
A total of 47 Inner Mognolian exhibitors were on hand at the fair, with projects covering specialty fields such as high-end equipment manufacturing, bio-pharmaceutical, modern agriculture and animal husbandry, clean and efficient utilization in the coal and chemical industry, the culture of ethnic groups and the new generation of information technology.
Wu Tuanying, the deputy director of the standing committee of the Inner Mongolia people’s congress, attended the fair’s opening ceremony.
The China Hi-Tech Fair is a six-day event hosted jointly by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, Shenzhen municipal government and various scientific research organizations. Focusing on accelerating the development of an innovation-driven green economy, the fair’s highlights included, innovation-driven development, green development, high-end development, innovation and entrepreneurship, exchange and cooperation, and high quality exhibitions.
The fair’s main exhibition venue covered an area of 110,000 square meters, housing 3000 exhibitors and 100 trade delegations, which represented over 10,000 projects from more than 50 countries and regions.
