To date, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region has 89 bases for practical professional training in rural pasturing areas, including two at the national level and five at the autonomous regional level, according to the Inner Mongolia Department of Farming and Animal Husbandry.

The autonomous region has been working on construction of professional teams in rural pasturing areas. The villages, village officials and fields are the main factors during this kind of professional team construction. A total of five parts were included in the cultivation, such as experience teaching, lectures, seminars, field observation and practical operations. Moreover, respective proportions of in-classroom teaching and practical production were defined. Every trainee is required to achieve credit hours of more than 150 hours per year, while the practical operation’s proportion should be no less than 60 percent.
