The meeting focused on the theme of ecological civilization and pushed forward industrialized, capitalized and professional construction of ecological civilization. It called upon the public to take the initiative to promote and take responsibility for ecological civilization. Kubuqi Desert sits in the north of the highland in Erdos and is one of three sources of sandstorms in Beijing. It covers an area of 18,600 square kilometers and is the seventh biggest desert in China.
