A cooperation agreement on joint construction of food and drug safety was reached between the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and State Food and Drug Administration.
Bate'er, chairman and on behalf of the people's government of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and Zhang Yong, head and on behalf of the State Food and Drug Administration, signed the agreement on Sept 12 in Hohhot.
The agreement’s signing was a significant measure for the State Food and Drug Administration to help the region’s progress in food and drug safety.
In accordance with the agreement, the administration will strengthen support and guidance for Inner Mongolia’s food and drug safety in five aspects, including a technological supporting system for food and drug safety supervision, an informatization platform of food and drug supervision, and standardization of Mongolian medicine.
The two sides will work on a joint conference and daily coordination systems, based on the agreement, to solve the major problems and issues in Inner Mongolia’s food and drug safety.
