Technicians to help underdeveloped areas

From 2014 to 2020, Inner Mongolia will select 900 technicians annually to serve 57 remote poor areas, frontier ethnic areas and old revolutionary base areas.

According to the Department of Science and Technology of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, these professionals mainly hail from research institutes, institutions of higher education, enterprises, and public institutions inside and outside of Inner Mongolia. They are all scientific and technical personnel specializing in modern agriculture, industry, services, environmental protection in rural areas as well as informatization with professional and technical titles above the intermediate level.

Inner Mongolia will cultivate about 110 technicians and rural scientific and technological innovation entrepreneurs per year to benefit banners and counties.

Meanwhile, in response to the technical needs of pillar industries and characteristic advantageous industries in these banners and counties, transformation projects of scientific and technological achievements are carried out to promote the transformation and adoption of scientific and technological fruits and improve the overall development in these banners and counties.
