The first local education support group was established in Changsha county, Hunan province, on Jan 13, marking a new step in the development of the area's education system.

Panpan Education Group, which will integrate high-quality educational resources for primary schools in Changsha, was founded to provide fair educational opportunities for students living in different areas of the county.

The education group is divided into three divisions. The teaching division is responsible for managing and evaluating teachers. The research division is in charge of creating more effective courses, while the public relations division is responsible for planning publicity activities.

Chen Weiqiu, head of the county's education bureau, said, "Panpan Education Group sets a good example of balancing the allocation of educational resources and will hopefully promote the common development of urban and rural education.

"We would like to gather together advanced educational resources and build our group into a well-known education brand in Hunan province," said Liu Qing, vice president of the group.
