Changsha sent a machinery squad comprised of local leading enterprises to the bauma China 2016, an international trade fair for construction machinery, held in Shanghai on Nov 22, showcasing the city's machinery manufacturing strength.

As one of the biggest exhibitors at the fair, Sany Group put 50 of its latest devices on show, including excavating machines, concrete-making machines and accessories such as engines and intelligent control equipment.

China Railway Construction Heavy Industry exhibited its tunneling products such as borers and computerized drilling equipment, at its exhibition area which spread across 1,008 square meters, attracting many visitors and purchasers.

Some of Sunward Intelligent Equipment Group's latest products made their debut at the fair, drawing attention from many overseas investors. "Our products represent leading technology in the industry," said He Qinghua, president of the machinery manufacturer.

Changsha's Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co signed preliminary agreements worth 200 million yuan ($29.07 million) with a Hangzhou-based company. Zoomlion was exhibiting smart equipment and energy-saving machines used in heavy industries.

Bauma China is the biggest and the most important construction machinery trade show to be held every two years in Shanghai. It attracts leading construction machinery manufacturers from all around the world, providing an opportunity for companies to exchange ideas and find out about future markets and technological innovations.
