First US travel group visits Jingzhou

On March 24, two luxury cruise liners berthed at the cruise terminal of Jingzhou city, Hubei province, carrying over 400 foreign tourists from North America.
It was the first tourist group from North America in 2013 to tour Jingzhou. The tourists visited the ancient city and the museum of Jingzhou. They were amazed by the city's long history, culture and prolific cultural relics.
In 2010, the municipal government of Jingzhou and Huajing Vacation Travel Agency (Canada) entered into a contract to arrange 10,000 Canadian tourists to tour Jingzhou. In 2011, the number of Canadian tourists visiting Jingzhou exceeded 10,000. In 2012, the number exceeded 15,000. This year, Huajing Vacation Travel Agency extended the business project to all of North America. It is expected that, this year, the number of tourists will exceed 20,000.
