Jiangsu Eastide Group and the government of the Shennongjia forest region signed an agreement on March 16 to invest about 3 billion yuan to build the Longjiangping International Tourist Resort.

Zhou Senfeng, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and Divisional Officer of the Shennongjia forest region and Jiangsu Eastide Group Chairman Chen Jun signed the contract.

The resort merges leisure with vacation and business travel into a comprehensive whole to include a five-star resort hotel, boutique hotel club group, culture and customs street, holiday apartments and villas, eco-organic farms, tourism facilities, "bee culture" and "tea culture" museums and corporate mansion / CEO residence, business clubs, star art clubs, cultural theme clubs, etc. The total investment accounts for approximately 3 billion yuan.

Within four months, the conceptual planning program will be completed and within six months construction details will be submitted for examination.

Construction of the boutique hotel and customs and cultural street will start in April 2013 and scheduled to open to the public at the end of March 2014.
