Liang asked the business expansion and overall developing plan of enterprises in detail when he visited NSK, Tangram Customer Interaction Center, French Capgemini and China Data Group. Chatting with employees, Liang said that Huaqiao was a core developing region under the support of every aspect, and he hoped these enterprises could take root in Huaqiao, working together for a stronger modern service industry.

After Zhuang Guohua’s report on the development and construction of Huaqiao, Liang thought highly of Huaqiao’s achievements. On the following development, Liang raised six requests.

First of all, to further clearly define the developing orientation. Different from that of Suzhou Industrial Park and Kunshan Development Zone, Huaqiao’s developing orientation was to build a high-level modern service complex with its own characteristics, putting the position of bridgehead into full play as a platform serving all enterprises in the province.

Second, Huaqiao should speed up the building of the services platform. Huaqiao’s work in promoting investment and construction was quite outstanding, while at the same time, they should create with full strength a platform for modern services development. Kunshan Cross-strait Commercial Cooperation Zone was a good example of such a platform. The provincial government would provide every support for Huaqiao to give full play to its advantages to become the best carrier of exhibiting and trading Taiwan products in China.

Third, infrastructure constructions connecting to Shanghai should be sped up, such as public transportation and communication networks.

Forth, he called for strengthening talent training. The Ambow Education Group introduced to Huaqiao had advanced training concepts with the qualification of international certification. The company should further train appropriate personnel based on industry needs.

Fifth, update system and mechanism of modern service industry.

Sixth, Huaqiao should serve Shanghai, connect Shanghai and develop differently from Shanghai. Not only attracting abroad big enterprises to set up research and innovation centers, headquarters and sales centers in Huaqiao, but also to serve as a window for provincial corporations.
