A plan for boosting the joint development of Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei province will be published "soon", China Securities Journal said on Monday, citing an unnamed source.
Jingtang Port and Caofeidian, an economic development area about 200 kilometers from Beijing, will play very important roles in the plan. Many "substantive" policies on the zone are expected to be released in the next two months, the journal said.
The planned hub will focus on commodities including iron ore, oil, gas, coal, grain and timber and gradually enhance the country's pricing on such commodities, the journal report said.
